For highQu, focus and size make all the difference

It goes without saying that exhibitors are interested in visitors. That’s the purpose of trade fairs. However, exhibitors can find partners among other exhibitors from time to time. This is one of the reasons why highQu GmbH will be back again at LABVOLUTION with BIOTECHNICA in 2017.

highQu is a young company, founded just recently in 2013. However, it came with plenty of experience under its belt. Researchers and businessmen with profound knowledge of the life sciences market launched highQu in order to develop and sell reagents and kits for molecular biology research. Since that time, exhibiting in Hannover has always played a role.

highQu presented its products to the scientific community for the first time at BIOTECHNICA 2013. It subsequently expanded its direct sales and its network of global distributors. Two years later, highQu used the premiere of the new lab technology trade fair LABVOLUTION – which was held alongside BIOTECHNICA – to launch new products, including those in the direct PCR range, and presented them to life science researchers and companies. “The result of the trade fair was very positive,” reports Jürgen Jentner, Managing Director, highQu GmbH. “We met many prospects from local and regional research labs as well as qualified distributors.” However, the team didn’t focus all of its attention on visitors. “We also used the trade fair to observe the market situation and initiate partnerships with other exhibitors from the life sciences area.”

Gaining distributors and new customers

highQu's target group includes universities and other public research institutes as well as research & development and quality control departments in biotech and molecular diagnostics companies around the world. In addition to developing new products, highQu's challenges include expanding its distributor network and gaining new customers.

LABVOLUTION with BIOTECHNICA is the ideal place to do this. "In particular because of its joint staging with BIOTECHNICA, it is the only highly focused thematic trade fair in Germany," says Jentner. "Its focus and size make it possible to catch up on all the latest innovations in a single day."

A successful trade show with distribution partners

2015 was a particularly successful year for highQu in Hannover along with its collaboration and sales partner flash4science. This leading online marketing and sales platform is known for providing attractive offers from newer and more established life sciences companies. In Hannover a large number of researchers made use of the opportunity to meet staff members of the online platform in person and register with flash4science on site.

From May 16 to 18, 2017, highQu will once again take advantage of the opportunities at LABVOLUTION with BIOTECHNICA.
