Description

Efficiency and reproducibility are key factors in sample preparation and nucleic acid extraction for molecular food analysis. BIOTECON Diagnostics has developed the foodproof® RoboPrep Fusion, a perfect combination of a precise liquid handling robot with a highly efficient DNA/RNA extraction system integrated - the KingFisherTM Flex. A separate robotic arm is capable to "feed" the KingFisher® Flex for the extraction setup. The pipetting unit dispenses the buffers and pipettes the PCR set-up, while the KingFisherTM Flex performs the DNA extraction of the sample material.
The foodproof® RoboPrep Fusion System provides a fully automated solution for DNA extraction and PCR set-up, effectively reducing hands-on-time and error sources, while significantly increasing laboratory efficiency.
