CART® is a robust, easy-to-use decision tree tool that automatically sifts large, complex databases, searching for and isolating significant patterns and relationships. This discovered knowledge is then used to generate reliable, easy-to-grasp predictive models for applications such as predicting quality-drift and conditions under which defects are most likely to occur.
CART uses an intuitive, Windows-based interface, making it accessible to both technical and non-technical users. CART is the only decision tree system based on the original CART code developed by world-renowned Stanford University and University of California at Berkeley statisticians.
CART can either be run in a novice mode, where the software uses defaults settings and provides the best it can, or in an expert mode where the user refines the settings.
More than 80 file formats can be read as input data, including Excel files. The software automatically detects the name and type of the variables, which records are valid, etc. It can handle vast datasets with numerical as well as categorical variables.
