Product description

Dunn Labortechnik offers with the MicroLute from Porvair Science a complete 96-well sample preparation system. The system includes a filter plate of your choice, a vacuum manifold, a deep well block or other collection plate and, optionally, a MicroLute P3 plate. There are two vacuum manifolds available: the MicroLute Manifold, which is precisely manufactured and ideal for solid phase extraction from deep well plates with square wells, and the Universal Robotic Manifold which is suitable for extraction from a wide range of plate formats. Application areas of the MicroLute system are purification of biological samples, protein sedimentation, removal of phospholipids, and protein precipitation. All plates are manufactured from 100 % polypropylene to eliminate cross contamination. They are available in three standard sizes (350 µl, 1 ml and 2 ml) for an excellent yield and have the same height for automation. The MicroLute system can be combined perfectly with the evaporators from Porvair Science.
Filter plates are available with a wide range of filter materials such as glass fibre, nylon, PES, PP or PDVF, with short and long drips, and for volumes of 300 µl to 2 ml. There is also a big selection of reservoirs and other collection plates available from Porvair Science with variable number of wells, different base formats and volumes. All deep well blocks are suitable for automation and fit to SBS/ANSI format, some are also sterile.
Ideal for protein precipitation is the MicroLute P3 plate which is offered with and without bottom frits in combination with different pore sizes.
Besides filter plates, deep well blocks and MicroLute, Porvair Science has a very wide range of plates for various applications such as Bacti-Growth plates for cultivating bacteria, Seed Genomic plates for determination of plant genome profiles, and 384-well low volume assay plates for luminescence, fluorescence and ELISA assays.
