Product description

OmniShake includes a single-use bio-reactor-system for the cultivation of cells which are very sensitive to shearing, such as IPS cells. In addition, all other organisms such as bacteria, yeasts, fungi or plant cells can of course also be cultivated. The cells are gently moved with the aid of an oscillating rotary motion of the reactor and at the same time a high amount of gas is transferred to the medium. Fingerprints of OTR- and CTR-based metabolic rates can be fully depicted, even on a small scale, in conjunction with precision exhaust gas analysis.

OmniShake closes the gap between the Omniferm® product line and the RAMOS® shake flask system.

With LabVison® we offer a proven, user-friendly and very flexible automation software. The innovative, table-based EasyBatch sequence control system offers a convenient way of programming even complex experiments.

The basic unit consists of a single-use bio-reactor system with a PEEK cap with the required connections for gas injection, sensors and sampling. Containers with working volumes from 125 ml to 500 ml are available. The waste gas analysis system records OTR, CTR, RQ, OT and CT processes and the growth rate online. No external coolant water supply for tempering is necessary. Heating and cooling takes place in this case using the vessel base plate.
