Microbial bioelectrosynthesis has numerous advantages over classical (electrochemical) synthesis, such as potentially higher selectivity or yields. Impressive examples for successful synthesis have been already published and the growing international science community constantly extends the area of application for this budding research area.Existing standard bioreactors can be reversibly set up for bioelectrosynthesis. In contrast to other approaches, the system allows systematic scaling of the processes. We are looking for producers of bioreactor systems that provide their customers with a valuable expansion of existing bioreactors.
