Abstract
Over the past years Sicco Drion has driven several product and service innovation projects in different industries. "The key for success," he says, "has always been a customer centric approach: start with the customer need and develop the solution from there." In his current role at Rainin he has been the driving force behind an innovative solution around pipette management: the SmartStand. "For the first time, researchers will have the comfort of knowing their pipette is ready to go right where they use the pipette: on the bench.
