Thursday is Career Day at the BIOTECHNICA FORUM within LABVOLUTION. Here, too, both companies will be available for career counseling. jobvector will kick things off at 10:00 a.m. with a presentation on questions like: Which job best suits me? Which employer fits my personal profile? And which industries are open to me? This will be followed by an academics presentation covering career profiles in the life sciences in research and industry. From 2:00 p.m. onward, academics will additionally be offering an interactive science communication format, with the "Plötzlich Wissen!" group bringing their program "From the lab to the world" to the stage, devoted to the topic of seas and oceans.

New at LABVOLUTION is a further training program offered by the Berlin-based GLA "transparent lab" academy. The two-day program includes a Laboratory 4.0 workshop for technical staff on Wednesday, with topics ranging from automated liquid handling and the digital lab book to "CRISPR/CAS for beginners". Thursday at the GLA academy runs under the motto of "Young Life Scientists – Business Orientation", offering talks in English on career prospects for Ph.D. candidates and graduates from the life sciences. Both conference formats are free of charge for trade fair visitors. The GLA academy is represented for the first time at LABVOLUTION in Hannover. These Berlin-based qualification experts have already succeeded in signing up experienced speakers from industry to report on current topics from the field.
