Challenges / perspectives / pitfalls
The sessions of the Gläsernes Labor Akademie (GLA) “Young Life Scientists – Business Orientation” are aimed at PhD students and post-docs. The parts "Life Sciences go Industry – Challenges, Perspectives, Pitfalls”, “Clinical Development – Still a Professional Option for Life Scientists?” und the GMP overview are about giving sound advice on career choices for young research scientists thinking of going into the biotech or pharma industries. The GLA is based on the Berlin-Buch Science Campus, in close proximity to about 45 innovative biotechnology and medical engineering firms, as well as high-profile research establishments such as the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) and the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP).
