The "Microbial Bioprocess Lab" is one out of seven nationwide projects set up by the
Helmholtz Association in the enabling spaces program "Helmholtz Innovation Labs".
MiBioLab acts as a nucleus for innovative bioprocess engineering bridging the gap between
groundbreaking academic technologies and industrial application.
- MiBioLab speeds up technology transfer by developing innovative solutions for current
challenges in industrial biotechnology.
- MiBioLab offers advanced technologies for the development and optimization of
microbial production processes.
- MiBioLab is specialized in miniaturized and automated cultivation workflows as well as
quantitative omics-solutions.
Our innovative and unique technology platform allows fast strain phenotyping by powerful
cultivation technology, automated lab robotics and state-of-the-art analytical technologies.
