Pipettes are ubiquitous in any biological, chemical or medical laboratory. Every effort is made to make them more accurate and more reliable, but they do not check that we use them properly, neither do they automatically integrate in standard Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

We present an ecosystem supporting existing pipettes. It will supervise manual pipetting, automatically document all executed actions and thereby assure process quality.
Improved process quality will help to decrease the error rate and increase their immediate detection. Errors, particularly when not detected in time, may lead to wrong conclusions. This may result in big loss of time and money.

In a second part we would like to discuss current user experience and your ideas to further improve the concept.
