The SyrDos™ syringe dosing devices have proven themselves thousands of times over to be capable of precisely dosing small and minute volumes and oxidation-sensitive materials. In addition to valves made of PTFE, valves made of AL2O3 or PPS are also available. They are suited to rough process use thanks to their robust stainless steel housing.
SyrDos™ syringe dosing devices are suited, among other things, for the drawing and filling of samples or as a dispenser together with an AutoSam™ sample collector or a pipetting robot. In continuous operating mode a SyrDos™ is ideally suited for micro-reaction equipment.
The SyrDos™ pump contains two syringe pump drives with multi-directional valves which may be coupled or operated independently of each other.
Continuous feeding with almost bumpless switching is also possible by tandem switching of two pump drives. In this mode, the two pump drives are synchronised through a special algorithm.
The SyrDos™ enables the setting of a threshold value for the outgoing pressure. If this limit is exceeded, the drives are automatically stopped (requires a pressure sensor in the output, e. g. IS-P-A-TRA-pres-GMG1/2).
An analogue input (4...20 mA/0...5 V) is supported in addition to the NAMUR-compatible RS-232 protocol to control the SyrDos™ remotely.
By using a dispensing switch (IP-SYRDOS-DISPENS) pre-set dispensing processes may be easily carried out at the press of a button.
