LABVOLUTION Digital Edition |
Long pipetting series in the laboratory can lead to strain such as RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). The manual microliter pipette Transferpette S by BRAND® protects you from such strains with significantly reduced operating forces.
By using new high-performance plastics, the operating forces are reduced 20 - 40% depending on the volume size in contrast to the previous models. The piston moves evenly and smoothly without jerking. Pipetting is thus considerably more relaxed and effortless. The technology is installed in all manual single-channel and multi-channel pipettes with a nominal volume of more than 50 µl. The new materials not only save force, they are also durable and resistant to almost all common fluids that can be found in the laboratory.
The consistent one-hand operation of the Transferpette S saves additional handling in daily use. Adjust volume, secure, pipette, eject tip - when using the Transferpette S you can do all this without changing your grip! This allows you to always have one hand free, for everything else you need to do simultaneously. The volume change protection and the highly visible 4-digit volume display help you work more precisely.
The Transferpette S is durable and easy to maintain. The Easy Calibration technology makes adjustment without tools in your laboratory possible (thus eliminating return for repair). Individual nose cones and seals can be easily replaced and/or cleaned on the multi-channel pipette Transferpette S-8/-12 (patented). Expensive repairs and long downtimes are avoided.
Pipetting liquids without introducing foreign particles or microorganisms is a core task at many laboratories, for example when preparing samples, packaging media ...
Pipetting is often time-consuming in the laboratory both for routine tasks such as serial dilutions, as well as for more complex methods such as PCR.
With inserts, communication between different cell types can be analyzed by co-cultivation or studying the transcellular transport of substances. In addition, cell ...
